From on-site lodging, dining and event space to the full range of outdoor recreation in the Idaho mountains, there is adventure for any season.

The winter brings 2,800 feet of vertical on 2,000 mountain acres for skiers and snowboarders, along with Nordic and snowshoe trails. During the summer, the resort is home to golf, mountain biking, ziplining, hiking, rafting and watersports on Lake Cascade.

In 2025, Travel + Leisure conducted its annual World’s Best Awards survey, garnering nearly 180,000 respondents and more than 657,000 total votes across 8,700 properties. Nominees were evaluated on key traveler priorities—rooms, location, service, food, and value. Tamarack Resort was named a top resort in Travel + Leisure’s 2025 “World’s Best Awards”. Unofficial Networks named Tamarack Resort as one of 5 ski resorts that have seen the most snowfall in the past 24 hours. “Tamarack Resort has seen 18 inches of new snowfall in the past 24 hours and 32 inches in the past 48 hours. The magazine called out Tamarack Resort’s “terrain for all levels of alpine skiers” and “areas for Nordic skiing, backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, and fat-tire biking.
