GROUND TRANSPORTATION

Once you’re in Boise or McCall, getting to Tamarack Resort is easy!

From Boise – head north towards McCall on Highway 55 and turn left in Donnelly, Idaho. If you don’t have access to a car there are plenty of options. Every Saturday in the winter our Boundless Bus travels from Eagle, Idaho to Tamarack Resort round trip (learn more below) . We also offer several different private shuttle options between Tamarack Resort and Boise for yourself and your group. View the options in the table below.

From McCall – you can drive south for less than 12 miles on Highway 55 and turn right on Roseberry Road in Donnelly. Tamarack Resort is only 20-30 minutes from McCall, Idaho. Don’t have access to a car? No worries, Treasure Valley Transit offers a free bus system that has stops in McCall and Donnelly and can take you directly to Tamarack Resort for free! BOISE BOUNDLESS BUS

Need a lift to the mountain, or just don’t want to drive from Boise? Then catch a ride on the Tamarack Ski Bus. The charter bus picks up and drops off riders at the Home Depot in Eagle (2836 E. State St.) on select Saturdays.

General tickets are $25 per person for round-trip travel. Boundless Passholders ride free — Reservation required.

BY CAR

Take ID 55 North for 90 miles through the Payette Scenic Byway until you reach the town of Donnelly, Idaho. Turn left just after the Sinclair Station onto West Roseberry Road, follow for 3.8 miles and turn left on West Mountain Road. From there you will travel 3.2 miles and arrive at the entrance to Tamarack Resort. Continue up the mountain through the first roundabout, past The Village and take the third turn to enter the Lodge at Osprey Meadows. Your welcome packet will be waiting!

**Pro Tip** The easiest way to get to Tamarack Resort would be to rent a vehicle from one of the many car rental providers located on the lower level of Boise Airport. Make sure to get a vehicle with four-wheel drive to easily conquer the trip.

GETTING AROUND THE RESORT

Once you arrive and settle into your luxury resort accommodations here at Tamarack Resort, you can relax and leave the driving to us!  No matter where you’re staying within our resort, you can access our free Dial-a-Ride service to take you to our dining options (we have 11 on-site establishments), the Village, the Marina, Osprey Meadows Golf Course at Tamarack, and more.

PARKING GUIDE

Main Lot: Closest access to the Village and snowfront. Is the most desirable parking and fills up quickest.

  • Skier drop off area
  • Two electric vehicle charging stations

Trillium Lots: Closest access to Tamarack Express and snowfront.

  • Skier drop off area

Arling Lot: Short walk to the Village and snowfront. Best access to Nordic trail system.

Aspen Lot: Overflow parking with shuttle service to the Village and snowfront. Shuttle will run on an as-needed basis every 15 minutes.

STORAGE & CAMPING

For certain events, Tamarack Resort allows camping only in the spots shown above. Camping is only offered during special events such as the Northwest Cup or the Northwest challenge. We also offer storage for watercraft and snowmobiles (and/or their trailers) in the appropriate season.
