Lakes, streams, wildflower meadows, wetlands, and groves of aspen characterize the first terrain, while the second consists of higher ground punctuated by stately ponderosa pines.
The solution to these challenges created a golf course that journeys between these two zones, using such design features as doglegs, split fairways, wetland cross hazards, dramatic waterfalls, and occasional island-style greens and fairways, as well as bridges and boardwalks, to tie the golf holes into a consistent whole.

While the overall layout of the course featuring mountain, meadow and lake views remains, Tamarack and the original course architects from RTJ II have reimagined several holes to improve overall playability while adding a unique 19th hole. View the completed course map soon!
PROPER ATTIRE
Acceptable attire for men includes, slacks, appropriate length golf shorts, and shirts with collars at least 1” in width. Unacceptable attire includes denim, tank tops, cut-offs, sweatpants, bathing suits, tennis shorts, or other athletic shorts.

ALCOHOL
All alcoholic beverages consumed or otherwise possessed on the premises of Tamarack Resort must be sold and purchased at the Resort. All outside alcohol is prohibited.
MUSIC
Listening to music or a broadcast is not allowed at the practice facility. Listening to music or a broadcast while on the golf course is allowed. Speaker volume must remain on a low setting as to not be heard more than 15 feet from the cart or player’s bag.
PACE OF PLAY
All players shall maintain a reasonable rate of play. Under normal circumstances, a round of golf shall be completed within 4 hours and 15 minutes, including any time stopping between nines.
