We are so excited to welcome you to Basecamp at Tamarack Resort. Basecamp is our daycare and activity center for kids up to 12 years old. We are focused on creating a learning environment that supports teamwork and outdoor recreation. When you enroll your child in Basecamp they will be engaging with other kids, learning about the outdoors, and more. The day is based around outdoor activities such as nordic skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and more.
Lunch is provided, ensure that your child is prepared for the weather (ie. coats, hats, gloves, etc.)
APRES BASECAMP
Every Friday through Sunday from 4PM – 8PM Basecamp will be open so that parents can enjoy themselves at our aprés events or simply enjoy some time for themselves after a day on the slopes. Aprés Basecamp can be signed up for without registering your child for daytime Basecamp, it is a la carte. Aprés Basecamp is $17.50 an hour per child.

SPORTS SCHOOL X BASECAMP
Basecamp works directly with Tamarack Resort’s Sports School! What does that mean? If your child is attending Basecamp they can also attend a ski or snowboard lesson at our Sports School on the same day. Simply book your child’s spot in Basecamp and your chosen lesson and we will help you child get to and from the lesson within Basecamp.
Not sure if your child will enjoy skiing or snowboarding lessons? That’s okay too, if for some reason your child doesn’t want to complete their lesson they can return back to Basecamp at any time.

The Basecamp Ice Rink is here! Find the ice rink right next to Basecamp on The Snowfront. Skate your heart out from 8AM – 4PM daily and 4PM – 8PM on the weekends. The ice rink has the same hours as Basecamp. Don’t have your own skates? Don’t worry you can rent skates at Basecamp! To enjoy the ice rink simply pay at Basecamp!

Basecamp Special Events
Give your child the ultimate adventure at our Kids Winter Survival Camp! This hands-on camp teaches essential outdoor skills, like building winter shelters, understanding winter weather, making fires, navigating in the snow, and using basic first aid and emergency signaling.
