Monthly Family Nights!
Join us at Basecamp for our monthly Family Night! Enjoy a rotating lineup of fun activities—from hands-on crafts to movie nights—all designed for families to enjoy together. These events are completely free for Tamarack Resort guests or anyone who’s made a purchase at the resort that day. Join us from 4PM – 6PM

Philosophy
Basecamp’s philosophy centers on intentional learning through outdoor exploration and teamwork. Children are encouraged to build resilience and confidence through structured challenges, to develop meaningful relationships with peers and staff, and to engage in age-appropriate activities that foster independence and self-esteem
The program is designed to support Tamarack Resort’s guests, with a focus on creating a vibrant, family-friendly mountain lifestyle.

While exact pricing may vary by season and program, here are general guidelines:

Full-Day : Typically run from 8AM–4PM Après Fri-Sat 4pm-6pm
- Half-Day : 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm Morning sessions include lunch; afternoon sessions do not

Family Packages: Lodging bundles may include childcare and ski passes. Childcare reservations required.
Reservations can be made online. Early booking is recommended, especially during peak seasons.
What to Bring
To ensure your child has a safe and enjoyable experience, please pack:
- Weather-appropriate clothing (layers, jackets, hats, gloves)
- Extra set of clothing
- Water bottle
- Comfortable indoor shoes and snow boots for outdoor activities
- Any necessary comfort items removed medications, we do not give medication.
- Diapers and wipes (for infants and toddlers)
- Infant necessities (bottles, formula, etc.)
Meals Provided
- Lunch and snacks are included for full-day and morning half-day sessions
- Afternoon half-day sessions do not include lunch
- Meals are designed to be kid-friendly and nutritious

BASECAMP DAY CAMPS
A day of discovery, exploration, and hands-on science fun! Campers will explore the wonders of our planet with activities focused on the environment, local ecosystems, and fun science experiments. Activities include soil and plant experiments, water and weather observations, eco-friendly crafts, nature exploration, and interactive science challenges.

A day where storytelling meets outdoor exploration! Campers will venture into nature and let the forest inspire their imagination. Activities include a nature scavenger hunt, building miniature forest villages with sticks and leaves, acting out characters, group story creation, and creative problem-solving challenges

Celebrate the end of the school year with a day full of energy, creativity, and fun! Campers will enjoy a variety of high-energy games, team challenges, creative activities, and playful competitions designed to get them moving, laughing, and excited for summer. Activities include field games and relays, obstacle courses, collaborative art projects, team competitions, mini scavenger hunts, and more!
Learn MoreTamarack Summer Camp is a midweek camp designed to inspire campers and teach them about the breathtaking natural environment and ecosystems around us. Each week of camp focuses on a different aspect of outdoor based education ranging from astrology to history with correlating activities and adventures
Tamarack Summer Camp runs Monday – Friday starting on June 8 and ending on August 14. The camp runs from 9AM – 4PM with planned daily activities and Mountain Biking or Wakesurfing Lessons available as optional add-ons.
