Our kid programs are designed around the activities and the local ecosystem that Tamarack Resort provides. In our programs your child can learn lifelong skills, expand their knowledge of the outdoors, and learn new sports like wake surfing or downhill mountain biking. We provide a safe and fun learning environment for your kids to delight in some excitement and adventure.
The SKY Pass
The Students-Kids-Youth (SKY) Pass is a free, year-round pass providing summer and winter lift access at Tamarack Resort. This pass was created to encourage outdoor recreation on their home mountain for local students. The SKY Pass is available to any K-12 student enrolled in a public, private, or charter school located in Valley County

We are so excited to welcome you to Basecamp at Tamarack Resort. Basecamp is our daycare and activity center for kids up to 12 years old. We are focused on creating a learning environment that supports teamwork and outdoor recreation. When you enroll your child in Basecamp they will be engaging with other kids, learning about the outdoors, and more. The day is based around outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, watersports, whitewater rafting, and more! Reservations are required.
Basecamp Hours:
Sunday – Thursday | 10AM – 5PM
Friday – Saturday | 10AM – 6PM
Tamarack Summer Camp runs Monday – Friday starting on June 8 and ending on August 14. The camp runs from 9AM – 4PM with planned daily activities and Mountain Biking or Wakesurfing Lessons available as optional add-ons. Summer at Tamarack Resort isn’t just about soaking up the sun, it’s about riding, gliding, and shredding your way through Idaho’s ultimate outdoor playground. As the only ski, golf, and lakefront resort in the country, we offer world-class instruction to help you master the trails and the water, so you can spend less time figuring things out and more time just having fun.

Summer Trail Blazers is a fun, engaging program designed for kids ages 12 and up. Each session introduces participants to a different outdoor activity, including hiking, mountain biking, water sports (such as tubing, paddleboarding, and wakeboarding), and golf. The program is structured so that activities are spread out, allowing kids to focus on one or two experiences at a time. All sessions are beginner-friendly, with an emphasis on building confidence, learning basic skills, and having fun in a supportive environment.

We stayed in a village studio. The ability to ski in ski out, access restaurants, and the beauty of everything was ... We received a call in advance of our trip, so that when we arrived, our lift tickets were included in our welcome packet. This was fantastic!!

The atmosphere of the village is great, ... You have some nice long green runs as well for the kids which is excellent, so we can spend more time on the mountain between lift rides.
