Mountain biking at Tamarack gives you the freedom to explore trails at your own pace. Your troubles (if by some slim chance you had any to begin with) more than likely will have gotten tangled up in the trees way back on some hairpin turn or rumbling through a rock garden. Feast on miles of trail riding, endless riding options, barrel through jump-and-pump tracks, berms, and banked corners in the park, or drop right into the thick of the action via lift-serviced trails. Treat yourself to a mountain-sized helping of two-wheeled, autonomous fun.

While your skis are resting, hop on your mountain bike, and head for Tamarack’s gravity fed downhill park and trail system offering riding for all ages and ability levels, from beginner to expert. The Payette River Mountains surrounding Cascade Lake offer 1700 vertical and 20+ miles of trails. There’s cross country trails or you can catch the lift for some downhill. At the base of the mountain, next to The Village is an expertly-designed skills bike park with berms, tabletop jumps and more. Passholders can grab a lift ride, unload and drop into the middle of a single-track, mountain playground with plenty of elbow room and stunning views. Choose from day passes, season passes, or all-season Boundless Passes. Lifts run in the summer, but cross country trails are available to all in the spring and fall as well. When winter comes, don’t let the snow slow you down. With a fat tire bike, plowing through the snow is a breeze. Bring your own rig or have one our pros help you get set up to ride.

This summer, the bike park will be open 7 days a week from May 21 to October 1. Riders will get 1,700 vertical feet of groomed bike trails from beginner to intermediate. Plus, the bike park features rocky expert trails, tabletop jumps and wooden wall rides and bridges.

A massive cross country bike trail network is also available throughout the resort which are free for all guests to enjoy. The mountain bike course has sections that appeal to novice and expert riders.
