MARINA EXPANSION
Tamarack Resort is proud to announce that construction of its new public marina on Lake Cascade is underway, with a grand opening planned for Memorial Day Weekend 2026. As the newest lakefront amenity in Idaho, this full-service marina will be fully open to the public and represents a significant milestone in Tamarack’s long-term commitment to expanding year-round access to recreation across its mountain, meadow, and lake.
The public marina will feature 100 boat slips available for seasonal rental, on-water fuel service, a retail and rental cabana, and food and beverage options designed to serve both resort guests and the wider community. Visitors will also enjoy enhanced lakefront amenities including a dedicated swim area, expanded beaches, a sand volleyball court, and a wide range of motorized and non-motorized boat rentals, including stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks, and Hobie-style catamarans.
“This transformative project is the result of a long-term lease with the State of Idaho and approval by the Bureau of Reclamation, and we are proud to deliver a facility that will serve the public, resort residents and guests for years to come,” said Scott Turlington, President of Tamarack Resort. “Of all our assets, the mountain may be the most iconic, and the golf course may be the most refined, but the lake has always been the most elusive. And now, finally, it is happening.”
The marina will be operated as a public facility in alignment with state and federal guidelines. The project enhances existing public access at Poison Creek and brings significant infrastructure improvements to support boating, swimming, and lake recreation for resort guests, local residents and visitors alike.
Seasonal slip rentals will be available with pricing and reservation details to be released in the coming months.
