GIRL WINTER – SKI MOVIE SHOWING

Join us for a bonus showing of Girl Winter Film Tour at Tamarack Resort. “GIRL WINTER is a collection of femme-forward and gender-nonconforming films. The tour aims to shift the narrative of ski & snowboard films seen on the big screen each fall and include new voices in the stories we consume.”

Ever heard of “Girl Dinner”? Filled with yummy small bites and your favorite snacks, we wanted this film tour to reflect the dinners we love so much – short films with range. These stories will fill you up with rad skiing, deep storytelling, and good humor – just like your favorite mix of food for “girl dinner.”
Each event will showcase 6 films accompanied by a Q&A and poster signing with the athletes and filmmakers who brought the films to life. The event will run approximately an hour and 45 minutes.

The event is free for all to attend and raffle tickets will be available at the door! Enter to win Tamarack Resort swag, lift tickets, a pair of skis, outdoor clothing, gear, and more! All the proceeds from raffle tickets go to support Friends of the Payette Avalanche Center (FPAC). FPAC. FPAC is a non-profit organization formed in 1999. Our mission is to provide a community-based forum to share avalanche information, to operate and maintain beacon basin training facilities in the area, to provide basic avalanche education to all types of winter recreationists, and to be a partner to the PAC in the West Central Mountains of Idaho.
