Kids Triathlon Race!

Saturday, August 1 | 8AM – 12PM | Tamarack Resort

Get your kids moving, smiling, and racing through the mountains in a staged triathlon built just
for them. With three age divisions—4–5, 6–8, and 9–12—young athletes will take on an exciting
multi-sport adventure beginning with an open water swim along the shores of Cascade Lake.
After the swim, racers will pause to refuel and ride the shuttle to the Village lawn transition area,
where the bike and run portions begin. From there, participants will cruise their bikes through the
trees and dash along Tamarack’s scenic trails to the finish line.

This fun, high-energy event is all about building confidence, trying something new, and
celebrating every finisher. Cheer them on as they cross the line and experience the excitement of
race day in a supportive, encouraging mountain environment.

All participants receive an event T-shirt and finisher medal. The top three girls and boys in each
age division will earn top finisher medals. Register today starting at $35!

Distances for each age group are listed below. Life jackets will be available for participants who
would like additional support during the swim portion.

INFO: Meet on the Village Grassfront at 8:00 AM for packet pickup and race check-in. Racers
and families will then be shuttled to the Marina for the open water swim portion of the race
beginning at 8:30 AM.

Following the swim, participants and spectators will shuttle back to the Village Grassfront where
racers will transition into the biking and running portions of the triathlon course.

We encourage families to come cheer on all participants as they race through an exciting
morning of swimming, biking, and running at Tamarack Resort!

AQI & Air Quality Update

We are closely monitoring the Air Quality Index (AQI) leading up to race day and will continue to track conditions using the AirNow.gov Fire and Smoke Map.

At this time, we plan to cancel the Kids Triathlon if the AQI reaches or exceeds 200.

We also understand that families may have individual health concerns or may not feel comfortable having their child participate given the current air quality. If you decide you would prefer to pull your child from the race due to air quality concerns, please let us know and we will be happy to provide a refund.
