NORDIC SKIING

Find the Nordic Center in the bottom level of The Lodge at Osprey Meadows for rentals, tickets, and more.

Choose your own adventure through the groves of Aspen, fir, and Tamarack trees on your classic or skate skis, Fat Tire Bike or snowshoes.

The Tamarack Nordic Trail system offers a variety of trails that wind through open meadows and forested paths with towering pines.

Our regular grooming program (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings) ensures multiple kilometers of optimal terrain throughout the season. Nordic Trails are open every day from dawn to dusk during the ski season.

Classic Nordic Skiing:

Classic skiing is where you ski in a set of pre-set tracks as you glide over the snow. It is a perfect low impact activity to enjoy the scenery around you while your skis remain parallel as the you kick and glide.

Skate Skiing:

Skate Skiing is a different movement where you push out with each step to create a faster pace. It is usually a higher intensity workout as in skate skiing, the skier kicks the skis out to the side to propel themselves forward.
