RMSHA Tamarack Peak Pursuit Hillclimb Round 1

March 27 – 28 | 8AM – 7PM | On The Mountain

Get ready for an adrenaline-charged weekend at Tamarack Resort! The Rocky Mountain States Hillclimb Association is bringing the Peak Pursuit Hillclimb to Tamarack Resort and we want to welcome you!

Please note: the mountain will be reserved exclusively for the race and closed to skiers and snowboarders, but our restaurants and bars will remain open to the public all weekend long.

Think you’ve got what it takes? Local riders have the chance to compete!

Local Race Registration:

• Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026
• Entry Fee: $100
• Eligibility: Ages 12+ (Racers ages 12–16 must use 600CC or smaller machines)
• Check-In Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Tamarack Outfitters (in-person only)

Race Classes (Max 25 racers per class):

• Local Stock – Bone stock sleds, straight out of the box
• Local Modified – Anything modified
• Local Vintage – Machines 20+ years old

Requirements Checklist:

• No ice scratchers
• Tether switch required
• Helmet, chest protector, knee pads, and goggles required
• No GoPros mounted on helmets (body/sled mounting only)
• Signed liability release form
• Proof of current ISR insurance with number
• Completed checklist must be submitted with payment to receive your bib number

🎟️ Racer & Staff Lift Access

Each registered racer and staff member will be issued a lift access pass. The racing events will all take place starting at Mid-Mountain, and will not be visible from the base area or Village. All spectators must purchase a Scenic Lift Ride Ticket to access on-mountain viewing areas via round-trip chairlift rides.
