Wedding & Group Sales Manager
Tamarack Resort is seeking a Wedding & Group Sales Manager to help lead our growing sales initiatives. Tamarack is in a period of rapid growth and this opportunity is perfect for someone who is ready to help build our business and make a big impact at the resort.
This position will be responsible for achieving budgeted sales targets through the solicitation of new business for wedding, corporate, association and social markets. This person will work with brides and group leaders to plan their dining menus and meeting details, and be on-site during these events. They will also participate in trade shows, internal business reviews, banquet event order meetings. This position will need to work closely with our lodging team to help sell and reserve room blocks for all incoming overnight groups.
An ideal candidate will have sales experience in the event, wedding, lodging or hospitality industries. Candidates should be energetic, friendly, and goal-oriented. Most importantly, a successful candidate will be someone ready to proactively build this business unit and realize the success that will come with it.
This position is a full-time, year-round position with health benefits, recreational benefits and strong base salary and large commission structure.
As the Executive Chef, you’ll manage the kitchens of Seven Devils, Fern & Feather, Canoe Grill and the Mile High Cantina. Additionally, you’ll work with a team to build our up-and-coming catering business. You will manage cooks and dishwashers in high-volume and fast-paced kitchens. The Executive Chef will work with budgets, inventory, and labor management. This person will use the tools and development provided by Tamarack Resort to grow sales and increase profits while you develop both personally and professionally.
Plus, Tamarack Resort has recently been purchased by a new developer, and the resort will continue its real estate growth. The resort will be completing its base village and be adding 4-6 new restaurants in the coming years. The Executive Chef will have a rare opportunity to guide the creation of restaurants themes and menus.
Our lift mechanic will work with our lift maintenance team to ensure the smooth and safe operations of our on-mountain chairlift system. This is an an exciting and fulfilling job including the opportunity to help install a new chairlift in the summer of 2019. This person must be ready to work in adverse weather conditions, both summer and winter. This position is full-time, year round with paid time off and health benefits.

Summer Seasonal Role
Waterfront Dock Manager
The Waterfront Dock Manager works directly with the Activities Manager. This person assist is the rentals of motorized and non-motorized equipment. This position also helps in the set up and take down of the waterfront concession, which includes dock building, inventory and merchandising. This person should be detail oriented, have knowledge of boat operations, trailering of boats, and good customer service skills.
We are seeking a laundry attendant to support our lodging team for the summer season. This person would work in the afternoons and evenings in our laundry facility. This is a full-time position for the summer season.
Our team is seeking a part-time CDL driver to support our rafting excursions. Our CDL driver will drive a 14-passenger van full of rafting guests to and from the Payette River. Idaho CDL required.
Bike Patrol Paramedic
We are recruiting a bike patrol paramedic to support safety and patient care in our bike park. This applicant should have a current Idaho paramedic license and current PALS and ACLS. Biking experience preferred. This position would work weekends and select holidays.
Our trail crew will work to reduce brush and undergrowth on our trail system to improve our overall snow surfaces for next winter. These team members will also instrumental in reestablishing the Wildwood Trails in anticipation for the installation of our new chairlift. Members on this team will work in a physically demanding job walking up and down trails using chainsaws and other equipment to cut trees and other vegetation. The work will be quite rewarding as you’ll be making a huge impact on the overall ski experience for the 2019/20 season.
Bike Park Trail Builders
Our trail builders will work on repairing existing trails and building new trails. These employees will also be called upon to load bikes and operate the chairlift during weekends at the bike park.
Our dock hands work at our waterfront cabana during the summer time. These team members help guests with boat and non-motorized watercraft rents on the shores of Lake Cascade.
Mountain Bike Instructor
Tamarack is looking to expand our highly successful winter sports school programs into summer by offering mountain bike instruction. Instructor can expect to teach riders of all abilities with a focus on lift served MTB skills. Lesson structure may be in a group or private format with riders of all ages and abilities. Must be PMBIA or BICP (or equivalent) certified L1 or higher instructor. This is a part time commission based position that will require availability on weekends and holidays Memorial weekend through middle of September.
Our lodging team is looking for full-time housekeepers to join our team immediately! Our housekeepers work together in groups of 3, and enjoy a lively and social working environment. These teams work throughout the resort in hotel rooms to estate homes – all with the goal of delivering an immaculate lodging experience to every guest who stays with us.
The dishwasher position supports both the front-of-house and back-of-house staff to provide clean tableware and kitchen equipment. Our dishwashers must have a fresh attitude, be optimistic and follow the rules of the kitchen. Sanitation is an important job in the kitchen, and for those who perform well, this position can be a first step to a long culinary career. Dishwasher positions are available in both Seven Devils and the new Fern & Feather Restaurant.

Seven Devils restaurant is seeking servers to join our team. This fast-paced, high-volume restaurant is a favorite of our guests. Positions are available for days, nights, mid-week and weekends.
Seven Devils Restaurant is seeking a full-time bartender to work in our vibrant and fast-paced pub. This position will sever wine, beer and mixed drinks to a customer base made up of homeowners and outdoor enthusiasts.
Winter Seasonal Role
Terrain Park Manager
Our terrain park manager oversees a small team of terrain park employees to build and manage the day-to-day operations of 2-3 terrain parks at the resort. A qualified candidate must be an experienced cat operator, terrain park design and management experience.
This person will be responsible for overseeing daily retail operations including sales of apparel and accessories and quick serve F&B outlet Hot Shots. This position will also support ticket and activity sales position. This position will also be responsible for developing and creating merchandising displays and helping to guide the season purchases of inventory. Ideal candidate will have extensive retail sales background, a creative flair with a deep understanding of the outdoor retail industry as well as experience as a barista. This position is seasonal year around with a break during the shoulder seasons (Mid-April-Mid May, Mid-September-early November). Weekend and holiday work is required.
