Tamarack Resort is now accepting applications for Summer 2019, Winter 2019/20 and year-round roles. Below are some of the seasonal positions for which we are hiring.
Marketing & Events Manager
Tamarack Resort is seeking a Marketing and Events Manager to lead our expanding efforts in the marketplace. Tamarack is in a period of rapid growth and this opportunity is perfect for someone who is ready to help build our business and make a big impact at the resort.
This position will be responsible for day-to-day marketing needs including copy writing, social media, email, tradeshows, shop visits, print production and web editing. This person will work with our third-party vendors including graphic designers, web developers, photographers and videographers. Additionally, this person will be responsible for creating and coordinating a series of new events at the resort to embellish the resort’s animation and overall suite of activities.
Strong candidates will be able to show portfolio examples of creative campaigns they both created and executed. Experience working with third-party creative partners and managing complex production schedules with vendors will be important. Proficiency with Photoshop and Lightroom is important as is ability to use a DSLR camera on full manual settings. The ability to use a video camera, GoPro, drone and Adobe Premiere is an advantage for any applicant. Strong candidates will also have experience with event production, ticket sales, event promotion and working with multiple departments and organizations to execute a successful public event.
This position reports to the resort General Manager and will have one content creator reporting to them in the winter season. This position is a full-time, year-round with health benefits, paid time off and recreational benefits. Some travel will be required.
As a member of our lodging maintenance team, this person sees a wide array of tasks around the resort. A good candidate will have experience with general home fixes including basic electrical and plumbing, drywall, appliances and other day-t0-day home repairs. This person will need to work independently and be ready for new challenges each day. This position is a full-time, year-round with health benefits, paid time off and recreational benefits.
Front Desk Manager
We are seeking a Front Desk Manager to help lead the arrival experience at Tamarack Resort’s lodging. First impressions are everything and this position requires someone who can offer a welcoming experience like no other through personalized greeting, care in guest room selection, and knowledge of the Resort to ensure guests have a positive lasting memory of their visit. This position will oversee several front desk agents and must have strong computer skills. This position is full-time, year round with paid time off and health benefits.
Front Desk Agent
Tamarack’s growing lodging division is in search of a front desk agent. This person will work with arriving guests and take reservations over the phone and via the internet. A good candidate will be a friendly face with interest in guest interaction and the have ability to work with computers and email. This position is full-time, year round with paid time off and health benefits.
Our team is looking for a restaurant supervisor to help lead the growth of Seven Devils and the new restaurant that is under construction in our new village. Previous serving and/or bartending experience is required. Additionally, 6 months of supervisor/leadership experience in a full-service restaurant is necessary for this position. Knowledge of cuisine and general familiarity of wine is a major plus. This is also a crossed-trained position and will be working in multiple outlets as a supervisor, server, and/or bartender. This position is full-time, year round with paid time off and health benefits.
Our lodging team is looking for full-time housekeepers to join our team immediately! Our housekeepers work together in groups of 3, and enjoy a lively and social working environment. These teams work throughout the resort in hotel rooms to estate homes – all with the goal of delivering an immaculate lodging experience to every guest who stays with us. Guest & Homeowner Service and Security
Are you looking for a full time year-around position that is paired with an excellent benefits package? Does a 3.5 days on, 3.5 days off work schedule sound appealing? Tamarack’s Services and Security team is seeking a self-starter, who is able to make decisions and balance a variety of tasks.

Summer Seasonal Role
Our daycare provides child care to employees and guests on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays during the summer season. We are seeking a part-time caregiver to support out daycare who will work closely with the department manager.
Seven Devils restaurant is seeking servers to join our team. This fast-paced, high-volume restaurant is a favorite of our guests. Positions are available for days, nights, mid-week and weekends.
Seven Devils Restaurant is seeking a full-time bartender to work in our vibrant and fast-paced pub. This position will sever wine, beer and mixed drinks to a customer base made up of homeowners and outdoor enthusiasts.
Waterfront Dock Manager
The Waterfront Dock Manager works directly with the Activities Manager. This person assist is the rentals of motorized and non-motorized equipment. This position also helps in the set up and take down of the waterfront concession, which includes dock building, inventory and merchandising. This person should be detail oriented, have knowledge of boat operations, trailering of boats, and good customer service skills.
We are seeking a laundry attendant to support our lodging team for the summer season. This person would work in the afternoons and evenings in our laundry facility. This is a full-time position for the summer season.
Bike Patrol Paramedic
We are recruiting a bike patrol paramedic to support safety and patient care in our bike park. This applicant should have a current Idaho paramedic license and current PALS and ACLS. Biking experience preferred. This position would work weekends and select holidays.
Our trail crew will work to reduce brush and undergrowth on our trail system to improve our overall snow surfaces for next winter. These team members will also instrumental in reestablishing the Wildwood Trails in anticipation for the installation of our new chairlift. Members on this team will work in a physically demanding job walking up and down trails using chainsaws and other equipment to cut trees and other vegetation. The work will be quite rewarding as you’ll be making a huge impact on the overall ski experience for the 2019/20 season.
Our dock hands work at our waterfront cabana during the summer time. These team members help guests with boat and non-motorized watercraft rents on the shores of Lake Cascade.
The dishwasher position supports both the front-of-house and back-of-house staff to provide clean tableware and kitchen equipment. Our dishwashers must have a fresh attitude, be optimistic and follow the rules of the kitchen. Sanitation is an important job in the kitchen, and for those who perform well, this position can be a first step to a long culinary career.
Tamarack has a grounds maintenance position available as well! Do you like to work outside? If so, this position is perfect for you. This is an opportunity to spend your summer enjoying the beautiful weather in shorts and a t-shirt!

Winter Seasonal Role
Terrain Park Manager
Our terrain park manager oversees a small team of terrain park employees to build and manage the day-to-day operations of 2-3 terrain parks at the resort. A qualified candidate must be an experienced cat operator, terrain park design and management experience. This position is currently posted as a winter seasonal job, but could be year-round, full-time with health benefits and paid time off for a candidate interested in stay on throughout the year in another mountain operations position including trail maintenance, bike park and more.
This person will be responsible for overseeing daily retail operations including sales of apparel and accessories and quick serve F&B outlet Hot Shots. This position will also support ticket and activity sales position. This position will also be responsible for developing and creating merchandising displays and helping to guide the season purchases of inventory. Ideal candidate will have extensive retail sales background, a creative flair with a deep understanding of the outdoor retail industry as well as experience as a barista. This position is seasonal year around with a break during the shoulder seasons (Mid-April-Mid May, Mid-September-early November). Weekend and holiday work is required.
