Winter Seasonal Roles

Lift Operator

Tamarack Lift Operators are the “face” of Tamarack!  Our lift operators interact with homeowners and guests, and become well-known employees at the resort.  We are looking for enegetic and outgoing people who enjoy working outside and with people.  Skiing/riding ability is a bonus but not required.  Full-time, part-time and holiday positions are available.

These positions enjoy a competitive wage plus a cash bonus at the end of the season for those who complete the season.

These employees operate their assigned lift safely and efficiently while providing guests of Tamarack Resort with courteous and friendly service.  This person will interact with guests in a fun, outdoor environment.

Line Cooks

Line cooks work in a fast-paced kitchen.  These team members get to work under a well-seasoned chef and learn the ins and outs of food service.  This position, not only has an hourly wage, but is a stepping stone a career in operating kitchens… at Tamarack and beyond.

Snow Removal & Parking

Our snow removal team removes snow and ice walkways, patios, and steps at designated structures.  This team also places ski racks on snow front each morning and shovel decks at Mid Mountain and transformers.  They service all bathrooms at Mid Mountain and Summit.  Additionally, these team members clean parking lots and patio’s of trash and empty trash cans daily.

Housekeeping

Join Tamarack’s Housekeeping Team! We are looking for a new team player that will contribute to building a positive team spirit and is able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. The ideal candidate will be organized, work efficiently, and able to take direction. Must be dependable and reliable. Pay is dependent upon experience. This is a part-time position.

Dish Prep

You will be responsible for cleaning all restaurant wares, while learning how to prepare food items according to standard recipes with supervision, while maintaining an organized and clean work station.

Wait Staff

This position will accurately and efficiently fill drink and menu orders.  Explain the daily specials and menu items to patrons as asked.  Upsell dessert and menu items. Ensure that all patrons meet legal drinking age before serving alcoholic beverages.  Perform other duties as needed to provide an exceptional dining experience for Tamarack Resort patrons.

Bartender

Our bartenders are many times the first people to interact with a guests as they finish their ski day.  These team members need to friendly, outgoing and ready for a fast-paced environment.  Our bartenders need a working knowledge of beer, wine and mixed drinks… and a willingness to learn about food and all of Tamarack’s services.

Summer Seasonal Roles

We are now accepting applications for the following summer roles.

Raft Guides

Our raft guides spend their days on the Payette River with guests of all ages.  Guides earn a day rate plus tips.  Best of all, no experience is necessary.  We will trail guides for a new career on the water.

Bike Park Trail Crew

The bike park trail crew uses machines and hand tools to maintain the bike trails of the Tamarack Bike Park.  Maintaining existing trails and building news trails is the focus of this team member… all with a goal of making Tamarack the best bike park in southern Idaho.  Full-time and part-time positions available.

Summer Lift Operator

Our summer lift operators run the Tamarack Express on weekends and holidays for scenic lift rides and our bike park.  Lift operators interact with guests and become well-known faces of the resort.  Many summer lift operators choose to combine this job with a bike park trail crew job, making the position full-time during the summer.

*this position requires the ability to lift bikes up to 25 pounds onto the chairs

Shuttle Driver (with CDL)

Our shuttle driver helps transport rafting guests to and from the river.  A CDL is required for this position.

Bike Mechanic

Our bike mechanic tunes and maintains all bikes that come to the shop – both rentals and owned by bikers.   This mechanic needs to be able to fix typical and frequently occuring problems on downhill, enduro and mountain biks.

Ticket Sales

The Ticket Sales Associate will provide efficient, accurate, informative and friendly sales experience to all Tamarack  guest’s purchasing summer lift tickets, bike park passes, rafting and ziplines products.  This person will be up to date on all Tamarack ticket products, discounts and promotions, and will provide guests with their best purchase options for the duration of their stay.

Waterfront Attendants

Waterfront employees will provide friendly, efficient and accurate help with renting and reserving boats, kayaks and SUP Boards to public, while providing customers with help in choosing the correct craft for their needs.  You will also clean and fuel boats and take them out of the water and dock them as needed.

Fit guests with life vests and explain the operations of the water craft.  Answer all customer questions and sell retail merchandise.

Zipline Guides

Our zipline guides have an exciting job of guiding guests across one of the best zipline courses in tbe state!  Guides will assist guests with safety equipment, instruction, hiking ot the course and safely navigating the course.

Guides must be ready to work at heights of 100-150 feet off the ground in an outdoor environment.

Bike Patrol

Our bike patrol are the first responders to injuries in the bike park.  They will be the first people at the scene of an injury and will work to safely extract  guests if an injury occurs.
