DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & SALES

The Director of Marketing & Sales is responsible for leading the Sales and Marketing team in a results-oriented mountain resort setting with both resort operations and real estate development.  This role establishes strategic marketing and sales direction, and executes a plan that uniquely positions Tamarack Resort in local, regional and some destination leisure markets, and delivers revenues across mountain operations, real estate, special events, and additional resort business streams.  Reporting to the resort General Manager, the role is based in Donnelly, Idaho.  The successful candidate must possess current marketing and sales experience and a demonstrated success record, along with excellent communication, collaborative, and organizational skills.

Seasonal Summer Roles

RIVER GUIDE

River Guides will lead guests on day long rafting trips. River Guides are required to possess advanced to expert whitewater rafting skills, have good driving skills, and have an excellent knowledge of river terms and techniques. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: preparing rafts with proper safety equipment, prepare F&B needs for the trip, be familiar with rapid conditions and classes of the rapids and provide excellent customer service skills even during stressful situations.  This exciting job will start in early May and continue through mid September.  Pay DOE

Seasonal Winter Roles

With summer just around the corner it means our winter ski season is now over and we will begin accepting applications for the Winter 2015-16 season during the month of August.  Please refer back to this page for an updated application form, and additional hiring information.  In the meantime, below is a sample of some of the seasonal winter positions we expect to be hiring.

Ski Instructors

Must be a proficient skier. Excellent customer service skills. Patience and integrity a must.  Experience and Certifications preferred, but not required.

Snowboard Instructors

Must be a proficient snowboarder. Excellent customer service skills. Patience and integrity a must.  Experience and Certifications preferred, but not required.

Retail Sales Associates

Must have excellent customer service and computer skills. Cash handling skills, integrity and a strong work ethic.

Rental Equipment Technicians

Ski and Snowboard tuning experience a plus, but will train the right person.

Baristas

Excellent customer service and computer skills required.

Ticket and Pass Sales Associates

Must have excellent customer service and computer skills. Cash handling skills, integrity and a strong work ethic.

Child Care Providers

Must love working with children and have excellent customer service skills. Must be CPR certified and able to pass a Criminal Background Check.

Lift Operators

Must have excellent customer service skills. Attention to detail and willingness to work outside a must. No experience necessary.

Ski Patrollers

Idaho EMT, OEC or WFR certified. Clean driving record and ability to pass a Criminal Background Check. Strong Skier or Snowboarder.

Groomers

Experienced Snow Cat Operators Only, Clean Driving Record, Night Shift Only.

Snow Making Technicians

Experience Preferred but Will Train The Right Person. Clean Driving Record.
