Agents Right of Entry:
An authorized employee or repairman may enter the premises at any time in order to inspect, repair, and maintain the unit and in order to confirm that the unit is being used in accordance with the terms of these policies.
Occupant is liable for any damages to the premises and to the furnishings, equipment, and/or household items therein which occurred during occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear. Please report any damages to your unit during your stay and prior to your departure.
Upon check-in, a photo ID and credit card will be taken for incidentals and will be charged in the event any damages happen outside the normal wear and tear of the property during your stay. Also, if items are missing, ruined, or the property is left above normal dirtiness then we reserve the right to bill accordingly for these items. Our team will take photos of damaged items to provide guest. Our accepted credit cards include American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
Termination of Occupancy:
Tamarack is committed to being a good neighbor, and asks that you be considerate of those who are living near your unit. Unfortunately, from time to time some occupants disturb their neighbors, by creating excessive noise, smoke, or other nuisances. Tamarack Security enforces our noise ordinance between 10 pm and 7 am. Tamarack expressly reserves the right to terminate, at any time, your occupancy, and to evict you from the unit, in the event that complaints are reported which indicate that you are disturbing the neighbors. In that event, you will also forfeit all monies previously paid to Tamarack.
Pets are not allowed inside rental units or on the property unless expressly confirmed for the specific unit being booked during your reservation process. If a pet is allowed on the property, it must be of medium size (50lb) or smaller. If unauthorized pets are inside your unit, or on the property, it shall be cause for immediate termination of the Rental Agreement without refund and subject to $200 pet cleaning fee.
All properties are smoke free, including all public and private areas. This includes the interior of each hotel room, decks, patios, hallways, lobbies, garages, and pool and hot tub areas. If smoking occurs inside your unit, or on the property, it shall be cause for immediate termination of the Rental Agreement without refund and subject to $200 cleaning fee.
Items Included in Rental:
All properties come with linens, towels, hand soap, & basic toiletries. Units offering a kitchenette or full kitchen will be stocked with the basic necessities needed for your stay. The number of plates & glassware corresponds to the number of guests a unit sleeps. If you require special pots & pans we suggest you bring them. Each unit is owned separately by individual owners so the amount of household goods and decor differs from property to property. We can only guarantee that they have the basics needed to be included in our rental program.
Fireplaces and Firewood:
Most units offer either a propane or wood fireplaces. Some offer outdoor fireplaces or fire pits for your enjoyment. We will provide 1 bundle of wood per wood burning fireplace at check-in. If you require extra firewood you may contact the front desk to purchase additional bundles. We ask that you only burn in designated areas only and upon your departure you check to make sure all the fires are completely out before leaving.
BBQ’s & Gas:
Many of our units offer BBQ’s for the guest’s enjoyment. We are able to make recommendations to the homeowner as to the type of BBQ to provide, but in the end it’s their choice. Some BBQ’s are hooked into a gas line at the homes, while others have small propane tanks. If you find that you don’t have a full tank upon arrival then please contact us so we can bring you out a full tank. If a renter leaves a tank on after they leave resulting in the tank to become empty, then the renter will be charged for a replacement tank, otherwise the cost of the propane is supplied by Tamarack.
Tamarack has limited parking, especially during the winter months. Units in the Lodge at Osprey Meadows have access to use the underground parking garage and elevators for their convenience. For the townhomes & chalets there is a garage available at the unit for parking in and a driveway that only has room for 1 to 2 cars. Please check with the front desk to see how many vehicles a unit can accommodate as some only have room for 2 to 4 vehicles. Additional vehicles will have to be kept at Tamaracks lower parking lot. With this in mind, we don’t allow boats, RV’s, Motor-homes or trailer’s to be parked at the units. We have a large parking lot at the entry of Tamarack for these items to be kept. The parking lot is under 24 hour surveillance so it’s safe to use.
Very few of our units offer air-conditioning as it’s typically only needed for a few weeks out of the year. The best way to keep your unit cool is to open windows and sliding doors in the evening to cool the place down, then before it gets hot shut all the doors, windows, & close the blinds
