What Is The Right Product For Me?
Tamarack Resort has several different ways to access the mountain. Here’s a look at our different products and which one might be best for you.
Season Passes – Our season passes offer the best access to our slopes. All our season passes offer unlimited access to skiing during the winter season (except for the Midweek pass which is blacked out on weekends and December holidays).
For people who plan to ski four or more time next winter, we highly suggest a season pass. Our lowest available prices on season passes for the 2017-16 season are available through March 6, 2017. Our prices go up after this date.
See a complete list of season pass prices here.
Express Cards – Express Cards are great for people who will ski less than 4 days next season. For the price of a day ticket, the Express Card gets you a day on the slopes (just like a regular lift ticket). Then, you can return to the resort three more times and save $10 off the daily lift ticket rate on each visit. With an Express Card, there is no need to return to the ticket window. Once you have picked it up on your first visit, just keep in on your waist and go directly to the lift. When the card is scanned, your credit card will be charged.
Simply put – the Express Card replaces the need for a daily lift ticket or multi-day lift ticket. But, they are best for people who plan to ski less than 4 days. If you plan to ski more than 4 days, we encourage you to purchase a season pass.
Express Cards will continue to be offered in the 2017-18 season and they are on sale now.
Express Cards can be purchased online, over the phone or in person at any ticket window.

Daily Lift Tickets – Day tickets are our most expensive and least flexible option. Tamarack offers daily lift tickets which can be purchased at the ticket desk.
If you want to ski for just one day, the Express Card is still the best deal.
Honestly, there isn’t much of a reason to purchase a regular daily lift ticket.
What Happened to Multi-Day Lift Tickets?
Our old, multi-day lift tickets were not very sophisticated. They forced you to ski on consecutive days instead of allowing you to take a day off during your vacation. So, we have eliminated multi-day tickets and replaced them with the Express Card which is a much more friendly and flexible product.
What Happened to the Local Teen Product?
We love our locals and want to see them skiing at Tamarack. Yet, that product was relatively unsuccessful since many local teens ski under a Family pass.
So, we blended the Local Teen and Regular Teen passes together. In the end, local teens only see a $10 increase in tier 1 versus last year ($159 in 2016 and $169 in 2017)
What Benefits Come with My Purchase?
Along with the Silver Mountain and Bogus Basin benefits listed above, season pass holders receive discounts at various locations around the resort. Plus, season pass holders get four Sundays in which they can bring a friend for $25. See the full lift of season pass benefits here
Express Cards and daily tickets do not come with additional resort benefits.
How Do I Buy Season Passes, Express Cards and Daily Tickets?
You can purchase season passes and Express Cards online, over the phone, or in person and can be picked up at our ticket desk in the Sports Dome at the resort. Daily lift tickets can only be purchased at our ticket desk.
Where Do I Pick up My Season Pass and Express Card?
You can pick up your season pass at the ticket desk at the Sports Dome.
Do I Need To Sign A Liability Release?
All season pass and Express Card purchases require your signature prior to pick up. Express Card pick-up requires your signature for direct to lift access, and associated charges. These documents can be requested by calling 208-325-1030 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
