Chris Reino

Chris Reino's Tamarack roots run deep as does his love for the McCall, Idaho, area. He was one of Tamarack Resort's original 12 employees after he was recruited to start the real estate sales program for what was then WestRock Resort. This followed his stint at Spring Mountain Ranch in McCall, where he offered vacation homes and real estate, which was when he met Tamarack Resort CEO, Jean Pierre Boespflug, in what proved to be a significant meeting for Chris and Tamarack.

Chris started the sales efforts in December 2002 as the first sales associate for what subsequently became Tamarack Resort in January 2003. He started Tamarack's very-effective "whisper campaign" that same year, which quickly evolved into presales activity with his efforts, (he was Tamarack's only sales associate until June of 2003). Chris was and still is a top producer, and he is a veteran of six extraordinarily successful real estate releases at Tamarack Resort.

Chris is from a small town in Northwest Ohio. He credits his father's mentoring while working in the family's third-generation commercial laundry and dry-cleaning business with helping him develop the strong customer service and sales orientation that has served him and his clients so well. He started his work career at the tender age of 12 sweeping floors and later apprenticing in every aspect of the business to earn money for college. After those efforts, Chris obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University.

After graduation, Chris continued with the family business until his return to the West in 1996, where he furthered his sales career in the residential sales and customer service call center for US WEST Telecommunications in Boise, Idaho. Soon after that, he discovered the mountain community of McCall, Idaho, and his purchase of a retreat home in McCall eventually led him to relocate to McCall and his involvement with Spring Mountain Ranch-and on to being an integral part of Tamarack's history and growth.

Chris is very proud of his tenure on the Tamarack sales team. He is an avid skier (alpine and Nordic), and is also a road and mountain-bike cyclist. He invites you to ask him to show you the resort's spectacular offerings and amenities on skis or by bicycle-though he's happy to accommodate you with other modes of transportation!

Dennis Burts

Iowa, Minnesota and Colorado provided the backdrops for Dennis' growing up years. A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy near Colorado Springs, he attended flight school in Arizona, and then served as a flight instructor for the balance of his 6 year active duty commitment. Dennis holds civil flight ratings in gliders, multi-engine airplanes (commercial/instrument) and instruction. After leaving the Air Force, he enjoyed a 20 year engineering, management and sales career in electonics, spending 12 years with Hewlett-Packard and 8 years with AT&T's Microelectronics Division.

Dennis and his wife, Shirley, moved from Boise to the McCall area in 1994. Their 4 sons are all graduates of McCall-Donnelly High School, and their daughter, Emily, is currently attending Donnelly Elementary School. Prior to joining the real estate sales team at Tamarack in the fall of 2003, Dennis founded a small aviation business at the Cascade Airport. Development on the "Accipiter" prototype is in a holding pattern, while full attention is being paid to Tamarack's launch. As Dennis sums up his sales role at Tamarack, "It's a rare opportunity... I couldn't believe it when I first saw the runs beginning to appear on the slopes at Tamarack in the fall of 2003. John Engel

A native Texan, John joined the Tamarack Team after 13 years in the financial markets. John began his career in Houston, Texas, and specialized in the stock, bond, and mortgage industries. From Houston, John helped open and establish equities-trading offices in Austin, Texas, Seattle, Washington and Boise, Idaho. Over the course of his finance career, John obtained multiple securities licenses, including the Series 7 (General Securities), 63 (State Securities), 24 (Branch Manager), and 55 (Equities Trader) securities licenses. As Branch Manager of the Boise trading office, John recruited existing traders from other cities across the country with great success. John's love of the area and ability to sell the "Idaho Lifestyle" is what brought him to Tamarack. John Williams

After graduating from college, John spent the first 10 years of his career working in sales, marketing, and management for IBM and Sprint Communications in Kansas City. During the past 10 years, John and his young family have lived on both East and West coasts where he helped launch and develop several early stage communications technology companies.

John is a native mid-westerner and spent his formative years in Missouri, Kansas and Colorado. It was during these years that he developed his passion for everything outdoors. John and his wife Lea have been regular visitors to Idaho for the past 12 years.

John came to Donnelly to be a part of a Resort start up. "I love playing an active role in the development of young companies. Tamarack is a start up like no other - recreation, real estate, people and new technology all rolled into one makes joining Tamarack a dream come true."

John, Lea and their two young children are happy to have relocated to Idaho from the San Francisco Bay Area. "Other than the ocean, which is normally too cold to enjoy, Idaho offers more scenic beauty and recreational opportunities than does California. Rory Veal

Rory Veal brings deep professional experience in real estate to the Tamarack Team and originates and manages all residential sales activities for Tamarack Resort.

The former President and CEO of Group West Development, Inc., Veal has more than 27 years of experience in the real estate field. At Group West, he founded and operated an integrated development/construction company with multiple projects in the greater Seattle area. Veal specializes in market analysis, product design, and feasibility. Two of Group West's projects received the building industry's equivalent of the Academy awards, including the MAME Environmental Award.

Veal has a bachelor's of arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Stephanie Greenfield

Idaho had become a vacation destination for the Greenfield family, that is until they visited Tamarack! You know the saying, "ask and you shall receive", well it holds true for this family. While on vacation Stephanie made the claim that she was going to work for Tamarack and within days found she was hiring movers!

An Idaho Native, Stephanie Greenfield is glad to be home! Stephanie moved back to the area from Naples, Florida where she had been practicing Real Estate. Although her career was prosperous in Florida, her heart was always in Idaho! Her passion for Real Estate combined with a love for the outdoors make this opportunity "IDEAL". Stephanie and her husband Lonnie look forward to raising their son, River, in such beautiful surroundings! They have fallen in love with Tamarack and encourage you to come and see why!

Tahnee Land

Tahnee is a Senior Real Estate Sales Associate that has been with the successful Tamarack Sales team since June 2003, when Tamarack was just a vision. Tahnee's experience in high end real estate sales and her high level of client relations contributed to the successful real estate releases which produced revenues topping 450 million dollars.

Tahnee came to Tamarack and Idaho with her husband Geoff Hopf from Rancho Santa Fe, California in June 2003. Tahnee's extensive real estate experience comes from successfully working and producing in the high end real estate market of Rancho Santa Fe since 1996.

Tahnee and Geoff made a life changing decision one day when they chose to make a trip to Idaho in early June 2003 to check out Tamarack. They had wanted to increase their quality of life and had heard that Idaho was a place to do just that. Upon spending just one weekend here, they saw the opportunity and lifestyle that Tamarack and Idaho provided and knew this is where they wanted to live. In just two weeks they left their careers in California and moved to Idaho. The rest is history...

Tahnee believes so much in Tamarack that she and Geoff have purchased several properties, belong to the Club at Tamarack and stay active at many of the resorts amenities. Geoff Hopf

Geoff joined the team after spending a couple of years working in the outside resort real estate market and was a top producer in his former brokerage. Geoff brings with him experience in handling high end clients, selling resort properties and a strong belief in customer care. “Real Estate is not just about selling dirt, it’s about creating relationships.”

Geoff relocated to Idaho from San Diego with his wife Tahnee, who is also on the Tamarack Resort Sales Team. Geoff & Tahnee made a life changing decision one day when they chose to make a trip to Idaho in early June 2003 to check out Tamarack. They had wanted to increase their quality of life and had heard that Idaho was a place to do just that. Upon spending just one weekend here, they saw the opportunity and lifestyle that Tamarack and Idaho provided and knew this is where they wanted to live. In just two weeks they left their careers in California and moved to Idaho. The rest is history...

Before making the shift to a successful career in real estate, Geoff was in the top of his career field as an Executive Protection Agent. For nine years he traveled the world protecting his clients who ranged from Saudi Royal Family, top CEO’s and celebrities. Geoff also has a strong belief in duty and served his country in the US Marine Corps for six years and was Honorably Discharged with combat decorations from the Persian Gulf War.
